Authentication methods
Most connectors use one of three authentication methods:- API key — paste a token generated in the external service. Used by most connectors.
- OAuth 2.0 — authorize access through a browser redirect. Used by SaaS tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Xero.
- Service account — upload a JSON credentials file. Used by Google Cloud and enterprise platforms.
All integration credentials are stored encrypted. API keys and OAuth tokens are never exposed after initial setup.
