Admins manage the full member lifecycle from Settings → Users — including invitations, role assignments, deactivation, and bulk import. This page walks through each operation.

Invite by email

Use email invitations to add members one at a time or in small batches.

Open the invite dialog

Go to Settings → Users and click Invite members.

Enter email addresses

Type one or more email addresses separated by commas. You can paste a list directly from a spreadsheet.

Select a workspace role

Choose the role each invited member will receive: Admin, Member, or Viewer. All addresses entered in this batch receive the same role — send separate invitations if you need different roles.

Send the invitations

Click Send invitations. Each address receives an email with a secure link.Invitation links expire after 72 hours. If a recipient misses the deadline, go to Settings → Users → Pending invitations, find their entry, and click Resend.
The workspace role you select during the invitation applies by default. After the member accepts, any Admin can assign them a different role on a per-project basis without changing their workspace role.

Deactivate a member

Deactivating a member revokes their access to the workspace and all projects immediately. Their data, comments, and audit history are preserved so you maintain a complete record.

Find the member

Go to Settings → Users and search for the member by name or email.

Open their profile

Click the member’s row to open their details panel.

Deactivate the account

Click Deactivate member and confirm the action in the dialog.
To restore access, find the member under the Deactivated filter, open their profile, and click Reactivate. Reactivation restores their original workspace role and all project memberships exactly as they were at the time of deactivation.

Bulk CSV import

Use CSV import to add a large team at once rather than sending individual invitations. Prepare a CSV file with the following columns:

To download a pre-formatted template, go to Settings → Users → Import and click Download template. Once your file is ready, click Import CSV, select the file, review the preview, and confirm the import.
Orkesta sends invitation emails to all valid addresses in the CSV immediately when you confirm the import. Review the file carefully before uploading — there is no way to cancel emails already in transit.
